I was intrigued by the faces and memories that were important enough to keep in a beautiful hatbox . The hatbox was brought out when relatives would visit and they would share experiences and remembrances. It was much later when I became interested in the synthesis of photography, digital media and graphic design. It is here that the magic happens for me. When you can capture an image and place it in a context that further expresses thought , feeling , and concept. In addition to graphic design I enjoy studio portrait photography, and event photography. I have been an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for fifteen years teaching all levels of photography. I also teach courses in digital typography and graphic design.
