Blue Moon Graphics & Moonglow Expressions Design Studio
Watercolor, Collage & Sculpture Artist
My work is about a celebration of color, joy and it gushes with feeling and emotion. I express these feelings through a synthesis of materials beginning with pastel in radiant brilliance with touches of gold and shimmer along with unique embellishments on each piece.
I also design a variety of paintings, collages, stationary, and sculptures that speak about my joy of life and reach into my spiritual inner child. The work itself brings a sense of movement, tranquility and serenity while exploring the pardox of the moment.
My work can seen in my studio space at the Narrows Center. I can reached by telphone 508-965-0647 by email: lhomme3_yahoo.com . You can send me an email using the form on the lower right of this page. I will be happy to meet with you by appointment or on all concert performances at the Narrows Center for the Arts.
I have been an artist since 5 years of age. I knew even then, that I was intrigued by the artworld and I saw myself as nothing but an artist. That became the journey of my life and I love what I do.
My art training is from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in InterDisciplinary Education and the Arts majoring in Education and Minoring in Art. I continued at Bridgewater State College where I received my certification as an art teacher. Over the years I was an educator and then an art supervisor in the New Bedford Public Schools. I received my Masters in Art Education from UMass Dartmouth and became certified as a Art Supervisor and now am an adjunct professor at UMass for over 10 years.
I have exhibited my work extensively regionally and internationally (Harrods in England & AuPrintempes in France). My work is privately collected and is part of many public collections.
I love meeting people. It brings happiness to me when I can share my work and I invite you to visit me at my studio. Please come by and visit.
